To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry how many private office staff have left the offices of each Minister in his Department in the past 12 months. [52859]

§ Mr. Mandelson
Twelve staff out of a total of 53 have left private offices in the Department of Trade and Industry over the past 12 months. This movement rate of 23 per cent. is slightly lower than the average for DTI Headquarters as a whole, which is 28 per cent.
