§ Mr. George HowarthNo budget has been allocated for informing the public of the new electoral system for European Parliamentary elections.
The Government are supporting the efforts of the Institute of Citizenship and the London office of the European Parliament and others to publicise the new electoral system.
Publicity arrangements for elections to the Scottish Parliament and National Assembly for Wales are the responsibility of my right hon. Friends the Secretaries of State for Scotland and Wales respectively.
