To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will make a statement on progress on the Review of Charities Taxation. [53938]

Over 3,000 replies were received in the first phase of the Review. The Government are determined to devote the time and attention necessary to do justice to all these contributions before launching the next phase. We expect to publish a Consultation Document in the autumn.
