§ Dr. HowellsThe Government are considering carefully the implications for education of broadband communications in the light of the experience of SuperJANET in linking higher education and research institutions, the outcomes of pilot projects under the Education Departments' Superhighways Initiative, and the overall development of the Government's strategy on the National Grid for Learning (NGfL) following consultation. Further announcements on the development of the NGfL will be made later this year.
