§ Mr. Boateng[holding answer 20 July 1998]: Charges cannot be levied for services, residential or non-residential, which are provided as part of the programme of aftercare for a patient who is entitled to such care under Section 117 of the Mental Health Act.
If a person believes that charges have been levied under these circumstances, they should raise the matter with the appropriate social services authority.
