§ Mrs. LiddellI list the value of outstanding debts on both UK aid loans and loans guaranteed by the British Government through ECGD, for each of the countries defined by the World Bank as severely or moderately indebted middle income countries. The figures on aid loans are the value of principal and interest outstanding as at end-1997. The figures on ECGD's claims are the total outstanding principal as at end-March 1998. All figures are given to two significant figures.
