§ Mr. George RobertsonBuilding on the Strategic Defence Review, we are developing a strategic planning process that will enable us to ensure that our defence planning is kept up to date. There are no plans to hold defence reviews at regular intervals. We will, however, keep open the option of undertaking further reviews if there are major changes in the strategic environment or other circumstances affecting the security and defence of the United Kingdom.
