Year £ million 1999–2000 598 2000–01 695 2001–02 987 The figure for 1997–98 includes £50 million for Croydon Tramlink. Provision for that project in subsequent years is accounted for outside the TPP system.
The figures for 1999–2000 to 2001–02 are guidelines. Final allocations for each of these years will be decided following the assessment of local authorities' bids. Unlike the figures for earlier years those for 1999–2000 to 2001–02 do not include supplementary credit approvals (SCA) set aside to match ERDF grant, or the receipts that we allow local authorities to use as part of their TPP allocations.
Figures for those elements in past years were:
