§ Mr. McLeishThe Scottish Prison Service has key performance indicators for the numbers of prisoners completing sex offender programmes and cognitive skills programmes. However, targets in this area were established only from 1996–97 onwards, and reliable figures for earlier years are not available centrally.
The figures for 1996–97 and 1997–98 are shown in the table.
