To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if health care purchasers are required to set health and safety performance standards in their contracts with NHS trusts. [51108]

Health and Safety statutory standards, which are not optional, are the responsibility of NHS Trusts and are not a matter for Health Boards.

§ Mr. Moore
To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if NHS trusts are required to include reports on their health and safety records in their annual reports. [51104]

No, but the information contained in the Annual Report is being reviewed.

§ Mr. Moore
To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland how many medical and nursing staff have worked in occupational health in the NHS in the last five years for which figures are available in(a) each health board and (b) Scotland; and what were the grades of those employees. [51115]
