§ Mr. MilburnAt the present time, there are 61 civil servants within the Department who form the Scientific Group and fall within the responsibility of the Head of Profession for scientists. Of these, 60 have held positions using their scientific expertise. Other civil servants within the Department and its agencies will also have science degrees and will have held positions using that expertise, but information on educational qualifications for those staff is not held centrally.
