§ Mr. Rooker[holding answer 20 July 1998]: The Department does not carry out any monitoring specifically in relation to munitions dumpsites. However, an extensive programme of monitoring for a wide range of contaminants is carried out in the seas around England and Wales. The results of this are published annually and copies placed in the Library of the House.
