§ Mr. Win GriffithsMeasures to improve clinical standards in Wales were set out at the beginning of this year in the White Paper "Putting Patients First". We will shortly be publishing a consultation paper detailing proposals for raising the quality of care and ensuring consistently high standards of clinical excellence. We will do this in partnership with the Royal Colleges and other professional bodies and draw on the work of the Clinical Effectiveness Initiative over the last three years.
