§ Angela EagleSection 4(2) of the Dogs (Fouling of Land) Act 1996 currently requires local authorities to surrender the proceeds of fines relating to dog fouling to the Secretary of State. The Government will consider whether this should be changed when the next legislation opportunity presents itself.
