§ Angela EagleA number of UK bodies have offered assistance to the Spanish authorities in the aftermath of the Donana pollution incident. The Natural Environment Research Council Institutes and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds made a joint visit to Donana soon after the incident to assess the situation and have been able to make a number of suggestions for future monitoring. English Partnerships and the Environment Agency are also arranging to visit Donana in the near future to assess what advice and assistance they may be able to offer the Spanish authorities.
