§ Mr. WorthingtonRepresentations have been received from one local councillor and from the Coroner for Greater Belfast. I am shortly to meet the Coroner to hear his assessment of recent trends in the rate of suicides, particularly in relation to young people. Additionally, a number of practical steps are being taken by the Department of Health and Social Services and by local health and social services boards and trusts to identify the possible root causes of suicides and prevent further tragic loss of life.
