§ Mr. ByersThe table shows the amount held as balances by LEA schools in Gloucestershire for each of the financial years 1993–94, 1994–95, 1995–96 and 1996–97 both in cash terms and as a percentage of the General Schools Budget. Information on the position at the end of the financial year 1997–98 will not be available centrally until local education authorities publish their outturn statements in the Autumn. I will write to the hon. Member when those figures are available, and a copy of my letter will be placed in the Library.
