§ Mr. Tony LloydThe FCO has introduced three pieces of legislation in the current session: to implement the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, the Treaty of Amsterdam and the Ottawa Convention on Landmines. These implement internationally negotiated treaties in the United Kingdom.
Women's groups were not consulted in the preparation of the UK legislation.
