§ Angela EagleOf the 337 waste collection authorities in England and Wales who responded on this issue in the Municipal Waste Management Survey 1995–96, 168, or almost exactly a half, were using wheeled bins for waste collection to some degree. The detailed breakdown below shows that on average 36.5 per cent. of households in any one district had wheeled bins. A list of the Councils concerned can be provided if the hon. and learned Member requires. He may also be interested to know that the results of the 1996–97 survey, which will include an analysis of the effects of the provision of wheeled bins, will be available shortly. I will make sure that he receives a copy.
