§ Mr. GalbraithThe Scottish Museums Council is an independent company with charitable status. It is subject to appraisal and assessment through Scottish Office scrutiny and discussion of annual corporate plans, examination of statements of accounts and reports and through regular attendance of officials at general and extraordinary meetings.
