§ Clare ShortOfficials in my Department are in regular contact with officials in the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), which has lead responsibility within the Government for the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. Most recently, officials from my Department worked with DTI officials to prepare for a meeting of the OECD Committee on International Investment and Multinational Enterprises on 26 June. At that meeting, the Committee agreed to proceed with a review of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. DFID is now working with the DTI to establish specific objectives for the review.
