§ Ms JowellThe Select Committee on Public Administration wrote to the Medicines Control Agency (MCA) in December 1997 asking various questions about the impact of the Freedom of Information White Paper on the MCA. A copy of the Agency's reply of 9 February 1998 has been published by the Select Committee. Since then the MCA has continued to review its policies to identify what further action can be taken to make more information available in advance of the freedom of information legislation.
