§ Mr. MilburnDecisions concerning Leigh Infirmary are the responsibility of Wigan and Leigh Health Services NHS Trust, in consultation with Wigan and Bolton Health Authority. We understand that, with the support of the health authority, the trust has invested considerably in the Infirmary in recent years and that its plans for the future include the provision of elective surgery, mental health services and a nurse-led minor injuries unit.
