§ Mr. Doug Henderson[holding answer 15 June 1998]: The Royal Navy has not had to take action to stop illegal fishing in British waters around Gibraltar by Spanish fishing vessels in the last three months. The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) has been able to enforce Gibraltar fisheries legislation in these waters. The Governor has assured the RGP of his full support, and that of HMG.
