§ Mr. DewarThe Scottish Office is currently producing quarterly Year 2000 compliance activity reports which include information on contingency planning. These reports are published on the Internet and place in the Library of the House of Commons. The Scottish Office is currently working towards achieving tested Year 2000 compliance on all critical systems by the end of December 1998, with contingency arrangements which are appropriate to the perceived risks remaining being put into place in the course of 1999.
