§ Mr. BoatengThe current independent review of the Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors Act 1979 is expected to raise a number of issues in relation to health care assistants. We will carefully consider all the recommendations upon receipt of the report during the summer. Funding is available to enable National Health Service employers to support staff who wish to train as nurses.
