§ Mr. Keith BradleyThe Department is currently engaged in a wide variety of initiatives such as our New Deal for Lone Parents and Poorer Pensioners pilots which are designed to provide better, more integrated and secure services for our customers. These initiatives are at the heart of the development of Active Modern Service and have been piloted in a variety of locations. The lessons and best practice learnt will benefit our customers throughout the United Kingdom.
