The use of DU-based ammunition in the Gulf, including these specific issues, have been discussed between officials in my Department and their opposite numbers in the US Department of Defense; neither my right hon. Friend Secretary of State for Defence, nor any of my other Ministerial colleagues have discussed this issue with his American counterpart.
