§ Clare ShortThe Department regularly consults the public, interested parties and client groups by way of consultation papers, discussion groups and any other methods such as the recent White Paper on International Development.
In addition, and in line with practice under the previous administration, and at similar cost, research was also carried out by Opinion Leader Research Ltd. shortly after this government took office to evaluate knowledge and opinions about development assistance. Copies of this research has been placed in the Library of both Houses.
