§ Mr. ByersMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Education and Employment plans to issue guidance on the new provisions set out in the School Standards and Framework Bill. Guidance on individual aspects of the220W Bill will take care to explain what actions need to be taken by the various parties. Revised versions of "School Governors: A Guide to the Law" will be issued in 1999 to reflect the new school framework which will apply from 1 September 1999.
