To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, pursuant to his answer to the hon. Member for Hove (Mr. Caplin) of 15 January 1998,Official Report, columns 267–68, for which grace and favour residences the new non-departmental public body for the historic royal palaces will be responsible. [holding answer 22 January 1998]: The Historic Royal Palaces Agency are currently responsible for nine Grace and Favour residences within the Unoccupied Royal Palaces, and this will not alter when the Agency becomes a non-departmental public body.
