To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, pursuant to the answer of 10 December 1997,Official Report, columns 554–58, concerning weapons stolen from the Army during the past 10 years, how many of the recovered weapons were known to be in the possession of (a) Loyalists, (b) Republicans and (c) others. The information requested is set out below for all British Army weapons lost, stolen or otherwise unaccounted for in Northern Ireland in each of the past ten years.
