§ Mr. McLeish[holding answer 16 January 1998]: The Scotland Bill provides for broadcasting to be reserved. The White Paper indicated that the Scottish Parliament will be able to invite broadcasters operating in Scotland to give evidence to it. The provisions in the Bill are consistent with that. There will be opportunities to debate broadcasting in the Committee and subsequent stages of the Bill.
