§ Mr. BoatengWhen information technology equipment is no longer required for the purpose for which it was bought it will, if possible, be reallocated for other use within the Department or its agencies. Decisions on whether equipment within the Department can be re-allocated or sold are made by the Department's central information technology user support branch. Where there is no further requirement for equipment, it will be sold to the highest bidder. The Department's agencies have similar policies.
