§ Ms Glenda JacksonOne such notifiable shipment took place carrying 42.809kg of plutonium. I am advised that the ship used carried the usual certification and a document of compliance under the International Maritime Organisation' sCode for the Safe Carriage of Irradiated Nuclear Fuel, Plutonium and High-Level Radioactive Wastes in Flasks on Board Ships (INF Code) and the packages used were approved by my Department in accordance with the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code.
