§ Mr. Keith BradleyThere has been no change in policy regarding appeals to the Social Security Commissioner since May 1997. The Social Security Bill paves the way for modernising the delivery of Social Security. It includes measures which will improve the arrangements for handling appeals from tribunals to Commissioners. The Bill had its second reading in the House of Lords on 15 January.
