§ Mr. MichaelBoth the Home Office and the Department of Health are committed to improving the level of information provided to the victims of crimes committed by people with mental disorders. The issue is complicated by consideration of confidentiality of personal information, but we are undertaking work on this issue and I hope it will be possible to make real progress in the next few months.
