§ Mr. BoatengIn February 1997 the Social Services Inspectorate (SSI) published "When Leaving Home is Leaving Care …" following a major inspection of leaving care and after care services in nine social services362W departments. The inspection was based on a comprehensive set of standards drawn up by SSI. Given that such a major inspection has been conducted relatively recently, there are no current plans to mount a further review in the near future.
