§ Ms QuinIn response to a Question from the hon. Member for Colchester (Mr. Russell) on 9 June 1997,Official Report, column 786, my hon. Friend reiterated the Government's commitment to find out what works with offenders. We decided to run the Colchester experiment for a year, as had originally been planned. We are currently considering the contribution it can continue to make to the "what works" debate. The High Intensity Training regime at Thorn Cross, established separately from Colchester, will continue to operate.
