§ Lord Mackay of Drumadoon
asked Her Majesty's Government:
Whether, following the Report of the Appellate Committee in causa Girvan (Respondent) v Inverness Farmers Dairy and Another (Appellants), dated 13 November, they intend to request the Scottish Law Commission to review and, if appropriate, recommend changes to the law and practice relating to civil jury trials in Scotland.

The Government have no plans at present to request the Scottish Law Commission to review the law and practice relating to civil jury trials in Scotland.
