To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland how many staff were employed as management and administrative staff in each of the NHS trusts and boards in Scotland on 1 November; what percentage of the total staff of the NHS trusts and boards in Scotland this represents; and what was the figure and percentage on(a) 1 May 1997; (b) 1 November 1996 and (c) 1 May 1996.
