§ Mrs. RocheThe OECD's review of foreign direct investment and the enviornment is in the form of an overview by the OECD Secretariat of recent literature on this topic. It provides a thorough analysis which will help all parties interested in the MAI better understand how international investment interacts with the enviornment. It is available on the Internet.
A further note by the OECD Secretariat on the relationship between the MAI and selected multilateral environmental agreements has just been completed and will be discussed by the MAI negotiators next week.
Both reports will contribute to further discussions between negotiating parties on the implications of the MAI for the environment.
