§ Ms Glenda JacksonNo detailed assessment has been made as we have no current plans to introduce motorway driving into the car test. The issue of adequate exposure to fast multi-carriageway driving in the practical test is one of those that will be addressed in the research into the practical car driving test that is currently being undertaken. Results are expected in two to three years' time.
