§ Mr. StrawYouth offending teams will play a key role in working with young offenders in the community from point of arrest to completion of sentence. Under clause 30(6) of the Crime and Disorder Bill[Lords], youth offending teams will co-ordinate the provision in their area of the youth justice services set out in clause 29(3) and carry out the functions assigned to the team in the youth justice plan formulated by the local authority under clause 31(1).
