To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what percentage of the recently appointed new members of the Standing Advisory Commission on Human Rights have been members of the SDLP; and which of the new appointees were self-nominated and which had not responded to the advertised request for nominees. Two new members of the Standing Advisory Commission on Human Rights have been members of the SDLP; this represents 25 per cent. All of the new appointees were self-nominated and responded to the advertisement.
