To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security what discussions she has had with the Chancellor of the Exchequer about the interaction of the taxation and social security benefit systems. [29110]

My right hon Friend the Secretary of State and I meet regularly with my right hon Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer to discuss tax-benefit reform issues. We are working closely together on details of the proposed Working Family Tax Credit. The Chancellor will make an announcement in his Spring Budget.
