To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if she will instigate an independent external inquiry into the Maze Prison. [29395]

My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State has already instigated both an inquiry and an inspection independent of and external to the Northern Ireland Prison Service.

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland when she expects the Maze Prison inquiry will be concluded. [29394]

The inquiry has been concluded and I expect to receive the report very shortly.
