§ Mr. Doug Henderson[holding answer 4 February 1998]: The Treasury last year applied to the Commission for financial assistance towards the cost of producing and distributing their booklet "EMU: Practical Information for Business". Discussions with the Commission about further funding for practical information material on EMU are ongoing. No other Department has applied for EU money to support information activities.
