§ Mr. Wilson[holding answer 16 February 1998]: The Review of the Student Awards Agency for Scotland which I have ordered will consider the lessons to be learned from the unacceptable delays experienced by many students in the processing of their awards in 1997 including the possible need for more staff. Training of staff is an important component in improving the Agency's efficiency and this will be taken account of in the Review.
