To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what progress has been made towards achieving greater co-operation between NHS trusts. [28089]

Substantial progress is being made. The White Paper, "Designed To Care" set out our plans to abolish the internal market, replacing competition with an efficient system of co-operation and collaboration within the Health Service in Scotland.
